I’ll be brief, because chances are this won’t be up here for long. Let’s recap: Jack White is given the liberty of penning the new James Bond theme for Quantum of Solace, entitled “Another Way To Die”. Coke release a commercial featuring a snippet of an instrumental section of the theme. Jack doesn’t like that. “Another Way To Die” gets played on the radio. It hits the internets.
How does it sound? Just how’d you expect. White’s signature falsetto is a perfect match for Keys’ wailing, and both are bombarded by orchestral typhoons and Jacky’s fuzzed-out riffin’. Perfeck.

it’s a cool jack white song. it’s just a very disappointing bond song…
It’s got cooler than cool Jack White, pitch perfect Alicia Keys, the obligatory sax v piano crescendo one would expect from a Bond tune…..
So why does it make me feel so hugely dissapointed?? It’s a half-hearted ‘I know the formula for writing the perfect Bond tune’ predictable little ditty. Jack, Jack, Jack…. we’ve come to expect so much more from you.
Disappointing? I’d just like to remind everyone of Chris Cornell’s 2006 “Casino Royale” effort. Have a good long hard think about that.
Add Big Muff to any bond theme and you’re bound to make it better… NOW LETS JUST HOPE THERE’S BIG MUFFS IN THE MOVIE AMIRITE!?!

meh….it’s ok, but a little unfair to judge it out of the context of the film, as i’m sure it will sound epic in a theatre with credits and shit

TOO BAD it wasn’t the seductive AMY WINEHOUSE theme i imagined,
honestly, it’s edgy but it’s not edgy cool, it’s very pedestrian and bland

It’s not even 4 minutes long! I hate those 6 minute bond intros. If it was something classy, like the back ground music in the pinky ads for car hoons, they could dub over the whole movie!
